Prayer
Ⓘ
A player devotes 30 minutes of their day to communicating with God. In its simplest form, prayer is simply talking and listening to God. This is best done in a quiet place. There is not one right way to pray, but common practices include reading and reflecting on the Bible, telling God about your life, asking for His forgiveness, and giving Him thanks. It will not always be a powerful experience, but it is always the most important part of life.

Exercise

A player performs moderate to rigorous physical activity for at least 30 consecutive minutes. Examples include; running, lifting weights, and most sports. If you’re not sweating, it doesn’t count.

Rosary
Ⓘ
A player prays a five decade rosary. While the rosary should not replace daily personal prayer, it is one of the most powerful weapons available to us. Through the rosary, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus and our spiritual mother, takes our prayers directly to God. May we never doubt the influence of a Mother.

First Alarm
Ⓘ
A player gets up and out of bed the first time their alarm goes off in the morning. No snoozes or resets. No setting multiple alarms. The alarm should also be set a reasonable amount of time prior to the player’s first commitment of the day. This will allow for sufficient time for other important morning habits.

Sleep Seven Hours
Ⓘ
A player gets between 7 and 10 hours of sleep during the night leading into the scoring day (for example, 8 hours of rest Sunday evening into Monday morning satisfies the requirement to get points for Monday). Getting too little sleep is one of the easiest ways for a life of discipline to fall apart. Sleeping too much wastes the day before is has even begun. Sweet dreams.

Thankfulness

You’re welcome…A player remembers twice during their day to stop and think of at least 3 things they are grateful for, and to thank God for those things. If the thing is due to a person, feel free to actually reach out and thank that person – you will make their week.

Clean Room
Ⓘ
A player’s room looks immaculate at the end of the day (whether that involved actively cleaning it or maintaining a level of cleanliness form the day before). What does immaculate mean? It means your Mom would walk in and start crying because of “how well she raised you”. A person who can keep their room clean often finds order in other areas of their life.

Electronic Free
Ⓘ
Perhaps the most subjective item in the game (and quite possibly the most difficult and one of the most important), an electronic free day is one where a player does not “waste” any time on an electronic device. No social media browsing. Movies and shows should only be watched if there is a group socialization aspect. School and work use is obviously permitted. Use your best judgement to determine if you have “wasted” time electronically, even a minute, throughout the day.

Plan Day
Ⓘ
Before starting their first commitment of the day, a player at least roughly outlines their day; thinking through or writing down all their appointments and how they plan to make use of their time before, in between, and after their commitments. This plan need not be followed to the letter – but even the act of planning itself can drastically better your day.

Make Bed
Ⓘ
A player makes their bed very nicely immediately upon getting up in the morning. Such a simple action, but it guarantees that your every day starts and ends well.

Vegetables

A player eats a hearty amount of vegetables at two different meals throughout the day. What is a hearty amount? Probably more than you wanted. So many vegetables are amazing for your health, yet they get a bad rap.

Go Over Day
Ⓘ
A player briefly goes over the events of their day, pinpointing where and how they spent their time, if they followed their plan, who they spent good time with, what they accomplished, and simply whether it seemed like a “good day” or a “bad day”. This can be done mentally or in writing.

Phone Away
Ⓘ
A player sets their phone away from them at night as or before they get in bed, letting it charge across the room from them. This prevents web-browsing when you could be saying an evening prayer, going over your day, or sleeping. If you have trouble falling asleep right away, try reading a book, saying a rosary, or planning what tomorrow will look like.

Drink Healthy

A player avoids all excessively unhealthy drinks (such as sodas, milkshakes, sweetened coffees, etc.). Primarily water should be consumed, and other borderline beverages (like fruit juice or coffee) should be consumed moderation – generally not more than a cup a day.

Morning Pushups
Ⓘ
Before leaving their room in the morning, a player performs a set of pushups. The required amount is until failure, whether that is 1 or 99. Only you will know if you actually went to failure.

A player drinks water. About 6 glasses should do.

Morning St. Michael
Ⓘ
Shortly after waking up, a player says the St. Michael Prayer. This prayer should be offered up for spiritual and physical protection, and for any personal intentions.

Evening Memorare
Ⓘ
A player says a Memorare before going to bed. The prayer should be offered for any personal intentions and for Mary to protect you and guide your life. Any time after dinner is acceptable, but either the moment you return to your room for the night or the moment your head hits the pillow are great ways to from a permanent habit.
